Molybdenum is found in the liver, bones, and kidneys and aids in
carbohydrate and fat meta- bolism to promote general well-being.
Molybdenum is needed for nitrogen metabolism, which enables the
body to use nitrogen. it aids in the final stages of coversion of
purines to uric acid. it promotes normal cell function, and is
part of the enzyme system of xanthine oxidase. A molybdenum
deficiency may cause sexual impotence in older males. A low intake
is associated with mouth and gum disorders and cancer. Food

Herbal Source: Kelp Supplementation: Not ordinarily available. As
important as molybdenum is, there seems no need for
supplementation unless all the food you consume comes from
nutrient-deficient soil. Can be found in multivitamin/mineral
preparations in chelated form.
